Introducing the Song Love One and Love All

​Some days, I really shouldn’t open social media, especially when I’m already needing a lift. You know the feeling… scrolling through comment after comment filled with anger, insults, and people tearing each other down like it’s a competition.

It makes me think of Rodney King’s words during the 1992 riots: “Can we all just get along?” It is a question that still echoes today (and yes, even got its moment in pop culture with Mars Attacks). Funny how something so simple still feels so far out of reach.

Then I’m reminded of something deeper, something timeless:
“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” —1 John 4:11 (NIV)

So why do we hold onto bitterness? Why is it so hard to let things go, to choose a better mindset, to actually decide, intentionally, to love each other?

That’s the heartbeat behind Love One and Love All. It’s more than a title; it’s a calling. As we grow in loving Jesus, that love is meant to spill over into how we treat everyone else. The song carries that message with a powerful Broadway-style sound, featuring an emotional female lead, lifted by a gospel choir, declaring what we’re all invited into: a life marked by love.

So… let’s try it. Let’s choose love, loudly, boldly, consistently.
